Treating each patient as an individual
What can Physiotherapy do for you?
We understand the importance of treating each patient as an individual and listening to what you are hoping to achieve from seeking Physiotherapy treatment.
A thorough assessment of the nature and cause of your symptoms will help us determine the most effective treatment and management programme for your problem.
Your first appointment will involve taking a detailed history and then carrying out a physical examination. The physiotherapist will then discuss the diagnosis and make an individual treatment plan.
Treatment may consist of manual techniques including mobilisation of joints and manipulation of soft tissues. Electrotherapy such as ultrasound may be used to assist the healing process and acupuncture for the treatment of pain. There will also be advice on exercise, posture and injury prevention.
